  1. My chrome button turned up from China and I fitted it today. I used a trim tool to pop the dsg badge off, then separated the left and right halves of the leather knob. This leaves the button accessible, and I sacrificed the 4 mounting tabs to remove it. I popped the new button on and reinstalled the other pieces. All good!
  2. I actually found the same part on aliexpress for about £12 delivered. I’m waiting for it to be delivered and will report back on here once I’ve fitted it.
  3. You can get replacements on eBay. I bulked at the delivery cost, mind you: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/275400957002?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Ds5K48dERmW&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=bT8y9cScQIG&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
