Good Afternoon, I have been mulling over getting a new Octavia and went to the dealership to have a look at one. Whilst I was there, I was rather taken with the Karoq. I do 20,000 miles a year but drive quite sedately, so am thinking of getting a diesel. The Karoq’s I have seen are an SE Drive DSG and a SEL manual, both with the 115hp engine. Does anyone have any experience of thsi engine with either a manual or DSG gearbox? If so, please would you share your feedback? My other thing to dither about is the colour: the SEL is Energy Blue. I can’t decide if I like it or not. many thanks Hendley

Many thanks for the quick reply. Yes, I’d seen that there were issues if you overfill the tank. I would definitely be getting an extended warranty.

Good Morning I’ve previously had a 2015 Octavia estate with the Euro 5 150 BHP TDi engine. I’m considering whether to pick up a new Octavia hatch with the latest Euro 6 TDi engine but hesitant as it now has Ad Blue. Of course, reading on forums tends to find where people have problems so I thought I should ask any owners on here for their thoughts. Is the latest diesel engine with Ad Blue reliable? My commute is 26 miles each way on dual carriageways and motorways and one a month I travel 230 miles each way to see my parents. Many thanks for any input. Peter

Good Afternoon I am considering buying a new to me car. I am considering a 2020 Kamiq 1.0 TSI SE L DSG and would appreciate your thoughts on whether it would be a good buy. Is this likely to be a reliable car? Are there any potential problems that I should bear in mind? Whilst I appreciate it isn't a direct competitor, I am also looking at a 2019 VW T-Roc 2.0 TDi manual. Would that be a better buy? I do 20,000 miles a year, mostly on the motorway and A roads, although I tend to drive quite gently. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks
