  1. HI, I've recently switched back to a Samsung phone, and have got an Ottocast unit to have wireless Android Auto. It doesnt seem to work in the car though. I have tried the same unit in my work car, and it's fine, and the one from the work car doesn't seem to work either, so I'm certain it's a car issue, not an Ottocast issue. The car will recognise the unit, and try to connect to it, which it sometimes does, but then it will drop the connection within a few seconds. I have managed to get it to work correctly once so far, but then when I left and got back in the car it wouldn't work again. The phone works fine when it's plugged in directly. Has anyone else had a problem like this, and have you found a solution to it at all? A2Air pro wireless adapter & Columbus
  2. Leaving the dial not in the upright position is a sin! Well, as far as I'm concerned is it. It might just be because of my somewhat messed up brain though.
  3. I suggest you go to Hell, for leaving the volume dial in that position! 😁
  4. That's true, but its a pain having the warning light on on the dash all the time. It would be nice if there was a way of turning the warning off. I tried turning off front assist in the menus, but the warning was still there.
  5. I looked at the plastic of the grill today while I was washing it, and the plastic has an uneven texture to it, so even if it was waxed, I think snow will still stick to it pretty well. It seems like a bad design from Skoda thats the case.
  6. I had my car serviced at the end of September and its saying its nearly due again all ready. The picture might explain that one though! (Mansfield to Nordkapp at the top of Norway, and home again is quite a long drive) but the main reason for the post is the front sensor impairment warning I kept getting when it was snowing. Every time the snow built up on the front of the car I would get the warning. As soon as I cleared the snow, it was ok again. Other than trying to polish and wax the grill to try to stop the snow sticking to it, is there anything else I can do to stop it failing again?
  7. I hadn't been to Scotland for a while, so decided to get up there this weekend to try to escape the heat a little bit. The plan worked, it was 30C at home, and 17C, with a nice breeze (as you can see from the tent flapping a bit) up here. It is a damn good looking car!
