  1. it should be the first option but my skoda dealer refused me until the end of the next 4 weeks in a waiting list. But the second option, is to send the Media unit to a Skoda member as pab567 . This one give more chances for unlocking and recovering the media. thanks for you adivice

  3. HI to all, Got a second hand media unit 5Q0035840B for my Fabia 3. Screen display 6V0919604B Original is broken down. Once it was installed, it showed this note on the screen: "component theft protection infotainment system availability currently limited". It means that it should be unlock by the Dealer or any professional. Dealers refuse unlock as the second hand could be stolen or not purchased on their store. I heard that there is a Diagnostics program named as ODIS. this tool cost about €200+ software . So, a nightmare. Any help? any clue? Other alternative? thanks in advance
