I own the same car an average 42mpg urban, an on a long motorway drive 55mpg driving at 62 miles an hour.

My 2016 Yeti does this too, I have noticed it does it more when the car is cold.

I am thinking about changing my car and coming back to a Skoda, I have seen a 2005 Superb edition 100 1.9 pd, auto, one owner from new with full service history and 150,000 on the clock. I am looking for some guidance regarding the engine, is this kind of mileage ok, would it be good for many more miles etc??? Thank you in advance

Its been a while since I have posted anything on here, since I sold my 2.0 tdi L&K with dsg to TheWes ( hope its all ok). But I have noticed that there seems to be more and more problems with the Octavia or are there more people on Briskoda posting there problems for a quick fix solution??? I have had three octavias now all L&K version and two with the 2.0 tdi and dsg gearbox, and I only ever had one problem in seven years of motoring and that was a sticky cruise control button which was fixed within days under warrenty.. Are people expecting to much, which was of coarse a budget car ( in the beginning), or is it because Skoda have now caught up with the likes of BMW, Ford, and other premium brands..

Hi I am selling a Karcher 2.36 comes with dirt blaster lance, normal lance, vario lance,small wash brush, and T200 racer. My car has all the usual L&K refinements including dsg gearbox,17" alloys, Leather and alcantara interior, xenon headlights, false boot floor, cargo netting to boot and between front two seats, blackout windows, full set of skoda car mats, 6 disc cd player with mp3 playback via aux socket, front and rear mud flaps, genuine skoda wind deflecters,and an unused tow bar with twin electrics. I have fixed servicing on my 2.0 tdi L&K, but only do 8000 a year.

Hia, it is an anti theft aerial i think you have to unscrew as far as it will go then just give it a good tug.

Hi all, I am on my second Octavia II 2.0 tdi with dsg, the first was an 2006 hatchback L&K with 16" alloys and dunlop tyres. I manage around 25000 miles on the full set of tyres after swapping diagonal corners over and driving on the hard side of normal. Now my second Octavia is also a 2.0 tdi with dsg but an estate L&K with 17" alloys and bridgestone tyres on all four corners and I have just had to replace the fronts and I have just clocked up 14000 miles on the clock and I would say I have driven on the slow side of normal as I prefer a higher mpg. How does this seem compared to others on here, and I must say the tyre was worn way past the the indicator all the way across the width of the tyre.

Hi all, I got bought a Sansa clip mp3 player for christmas I have loaded it with a few albums. But i have a problem the mp3 plays all track 1`s from all the albums then all track 2`s etc. How do I get it to just play a whole album? Thanx Dave
