2014 Skoda Yeti Black Edition for sale - SOLD
As I mentioned I am over in the UK from France arriving Thursday for a week. I have shared the photos of the car with my daughter and she is really interested in the colour and spec etc. I will be in Basingstoke and could travel to see the car by train or I could use my daughters car. Monday looks like a good day for me, how are you fixed? Paul PS How many has the car had in total?

Would you prefer questions in writing? My first question concerns the rear windows. Are they tinted, it's hard to tell from the pictures Paul

No indicator 'click' seatbelt chime or lights on buzzer
Probably the most economic way forward on this. I'd like to get rid of the SRS warning light though. When removing the instrument cluster I moved the drivers seat to its rearmost position. I may have dislodged one of the yellow seat connectors under the seat squab. I understand that these can cause SRS issues. Need to take out the seat for access...

No indicator 'click' seatbelt chime or lights on buzzer
I removed the instrument cluster to discover that the buzzer\speaker had been brutally disconnected via a hole made in the cluster housing. I attempted a re-solder job but the fine wire had been cut too short. Very frustrating that I was unable to repair it. To add insult to injury after replacing the cluster the SRS\Airbag warning stays on. I checked the connectors under the driver's seat (disconnect\reconnect) and also disconnected the battery for five minutes. Warning light is still on still on! Not sure where to go next...

No indicator 'click' seatbelt chime or lights on buzzer
Do you know if it is the same unit that produces both the buzzing and the chime sounds. I seem to remember reading somewhere that the chime sound came through the car speakers...

No indicator 'click' seatbelt chime or lights on buzzer
I am helping a friend out with some issues on her Skoda Octavia estate, Mk2. In the past she had a problem with the drivers seatbelt catch as it was faulty and was intermittently setting off both the warning light on the dash and the 'no seatbelt' warning chime. This became very distracting when driving the car. She took it to a local garage who silenced the warning chime and put insulation tape on the dash to cover the warning light. However the warning buzzer for the the lights and more importantly the indicator 'click' no longer sound either. This 'repair' was carried out a couple of years ago and the mechanic is no longer working at the garage - Surprise!! I will replace the seatbelt catch with a new one. The problem is that I have no idea how the mechanic shut off the chime\click\buzzer function. Im sure that he did not use coding, it's more likely he made a disconnection somewhere. Before I start investigating the issue does anyone out there have any idea what 'fix' may have been applied to silence these sounds???
