Where to start ,
The novelty factor of all the driving aids very quickly wares off , incorrect speed limit identification while on a motorway was the worst failure it made , car decided to go from 70mph to 30 , constant reminders to take control of the steering wheel despite having a good grip on it , Dsg doesn't work with the 150 bhp motor very well , constantly in wrong gear , holding gear , wouldnt kick down/up . Basically I think just an overload of automation and electronics for a very analogue driver (I do feel the driving aids been constantly on have soured me towards the arteon), the feel of the vrs just blows the vw out of the water , and with no driving aid options picked , I hope to enjoy the mk4 as much as I did my old mk3 .
Best thing about the arteon sb is its looks in my opinion especially in R line trim , but poor driving aid development ruins what should be a comfy cruiser but instead turned into quite an irritating car to drive on short or long drives
