  1. Forgot I had this - rediscovered by stubbing toes on it when clearing out the garage ahead of move! 2nd hand - was on my hatchback Yours for the princely sum of £10 Collection from Drighlington, West Yorkshire (just off junction 27 of M62)
  2. Set of 4 13" orginal alloys, still boxed Never got round to putting them on and now leaving for sunnier shores! £120 Collection from Drighlington, West Yorkshire (just off J27 of the M62) Call 07946738368 or PM
  3. Well, having had the same problem and freed the breather, the interior of my car now stinks like a giant car has urinated all over it. Is there any way to get rid of this wonderful smell or is it the case that I have to rip out all the foam insulation affected?
  4. I've been given a 2001 VAG 6 cartridge CD changer - does anyone know if this will connect up to the original cassette player in a felicia, and if so is there a standard connection cable? Local Halfords were less than helpful.....
  5. Put me down as a maybe (with kids).....if I can escape the visiting in-laws that weekend
  6. Been asked to pass on thanks to the extra bodies turning out on these, apparantly the Temple Newsam one made the club magazine....
  7. Bought a felicia from DMK Leeds in 2002, and went there to get it MOT'd and serviced for three years till I switched to the Bradford branch. I'd describe my experiances with them as mixed.... The sales team were OK, no problems with the test drive, PX and all that. However, it took a while to sort the documentation though, and one day I got fed with the wait, stood next to the car in the forecourt and rang through to see what the delay was. I could see the bloke through the window as he picked the phone up, answered my enquiry very politely and told the car I was stood next to was in the workshop having final checks made. Please draw your own conclusions....... Anyway the car ate the clutch plate about 11 months later and I was told it wasn't covered by the warrenty. The sales guy who'd sold me the car stepped in and got it sorted so I was happy. 2003 onwards and I noticed that the staff's previously freindly attitude was starting to go downhill, but assumed it was because the car was getting older. 2004 they changed the the oil filter and oil, but the filter looked identical, can't prove it but suspect they didn't do it. 2005 service & I marked the filter - they didn't change it & charged for it and I wouldn't use them again. My mum still takes her W reg fabia there, in 2007 they bashed all the front end and said it was like that before. When she complained they sent out a guy to repair it at home, so she was happy untill all the paint on the repair came off about six months later. Overall i'd give them 3/10, but I haven't been back for a few years now........does anyone know if they still have the 1960's felicia under a tarp down the left hand side?
  8. I have been using DMK in Bradford since 2006 having previously used their Leeds branch. In this time I have noticed an improvement in the attitude of staff, and the speed of which work is done. I have had two problems there: 1) the usual "i need it back by 2.30 to pick the kids up, can you ring me if its going to be later so I can arrange someone else to do it" and then get no phone call till 4pm. Most recently they did ring, so they may have sorted this and it could be because I think they have new staff in. 2) The other issue I have had with them is that when you go theres usually 5 staff wandering around, but only 1 on the MOT/service desk, where there is always a queue. You'd think they'd have the sense to fire up the second terminal and help out, but instead they just stand about. I've (so far) not had to go back with regards to any of their work and the car has been more reliable during the time I have been using this garage than the previous one. The prices are higher than elsewhere, but not to the extent of some dealerships, so on the whole....8/10 and improving.
  9. Found it thanks - for some reason its metal and not plastic on mine, hence the confusion. Bit of WD40 loosened it right up, just got to get rid of the smell now!
  10. I've got the same problem on my 1.3MPi, except it is leaking from every joint on the speedo cable. Where abouts should I be looking for this gearbox breather / clutch release lever?
