  1. I would just like to confirm that aerofurbs fix worked a treat on my Superb III. I used Servisol Super 10. After taking off the silver ring, you still cant see much aof a gap, but just spray the 'cleaner' around the edge of the button and you should be running again in no time! I already had the car booked in for the specialist to look at it. This has saved my a fair few pounds. THANK YOU !!!!!!
  2. I know! I've just taken it out for a spin. I do miss the auto... I opted for the manual in my new Superb. Still not sure if I made the right decision. Also I didn't realise how much better the stereo is compared to the new one. As the saying goes..... they don't make 'em like they used to!
  3. Well, it looks like I'm dropping the price again! Surely someone wants as Superb? £4300 / Offers
  4. Any takers at £4600? Going once.... twice .......
  5. Well, I've decided to reduce the price to £4800 ono. So hopefully there will be a little more interest.
  6. I can't believe no-one wants my lovely Superb :'( I've got it listed here, Ebay, Autotrader, Gumtree... Can you recommend any other sites that might be worth putting it on?
  7. Thanks guys. Looks like I need to reduce the price! Do you think the Edition 100 adds much to the value?
  8. Do I think the car is worth more than it is? Any HONEST valuation would be greatly appriciated.
  9. Hi, I'm selling my Edition 100 due to the arrival of my new company car - a Superb 170 Elegance (hatchback). OK, about the car.... 2005 Superb Edition 100 V6 TDI Tiptronic Auto Milage is 73720 Taxed until end of July MOT until November HPI clear Private plate not included. Actual reg is HV55 ZGE Servicing: Full service history (variable) 21820 43280 57243 (also changed cambelt and waterpump) 2 new tyres purchased 22/6/12 and 2 more (for the other end) 15/8/12 so plenty of tread. For those that don't know about the Edition 100, it comes with solar panels in the sunroof to powers the fans in sunny weather, piano black trim, grey leather, heated seats front and back, upgraded stereo amp in the boot, 6cd multichanger, sunset privacy glass, rear sun blind, colour satnav, electric seats, airbags, rear foot rests, cargo nets for the boot, etc etc. The interior is in very good condition. I would say the paintwork is good condition for the year. The wheels (as you can see by the photos) do have a few scuffs and scraps. I live in Radstock, Bath, so feel free to arrange a viewing. £5499 ono
  10. Sorry to re-open a very old posting, but while I was messing around in the car the other day, I noticed that if you brake whilst accellerating, the power gets cut off. The time it takes to restore power once the brake pedal is lifted is the same as the 'delay' I am experiencing at junctions. Is this 'feature' that can be disabled? Cheers Adam
  11. Thanks for the reply's. Well I'm glad I'm not the only one with this 'problem'. As Tarzey said, it works fine when in 'tip' mode. The wife finds it unnerving and doesn't like to drive the car unless she really needs to. Every cloud DOES have a silver linning! It's got to go into the garage to have the reversing sensors sorted out so I'll mention it then and see what the man at Platinum in Bath has to say. Thanks for your help. I'll let you know what Platinum say about it...
  12. Evening all, Hope someone can help. I am a very happy owner of a 2.5 Edition 100 but would just like to ask other 2.5 owners how their cards pull away from a junction. My problem is this..... If I am coasting up to a junction at approx 5-10mph and decide that I don't need to stop, I put my foot down (hard or soft, it makes no difference), the engine will take a good 2 seconds to do anything. This basically is the time it takes the car roll out into the road and face the correct direction:eek:. If the car is stationary, it pulls away fine. Is this a 'feature' of the engine/gearbox, or do I need to get down to the dealer before the warranty runs out! Your help would be greatly appreciated.
  13. Hi, I am about to take delivery of a Superb Edition 100 and was wondering if there is somewhere I can plug in my hard disk MP3 player. I don't need it intergrated with the steering wheel controls etc as it has it's own display with a remote control. Any connection will do (preferably the 2 RCA connectors as I already have that cable!). It's currently plugged into the AUX socket on my Blaupunkt head unit. Thanks for your help. Adam
  14. Just thought I'd say hello. Just joined the Skoda fan club after buying a Superb 2.5 Edition 100. Only problem now is, I have to sell my beloved Mercedes 560SEC:( . Still I have a fabulous 'new' car to drive! Hope to be speaking to you all soon! Adam
