  1. When I try that it fails with an error about conditions not being met. Is VCDS likely to be more able to sort this instead of Odbeleven?
  2. New battery has made no difference. On OBDeleven I can hear the basics settings/test activate the motors, but then I get an error with malfunction detected and it stops. I've cleared all faults but can't clear an implausible signal fault in brakes or the no basic settings fault either and can't apply basic settings. Before I resort to matches, what else should I check? Fuse one is fine. Took it out, checked with multimeter turned ignition on with fuse out. Put it back in again.
  3. Hi. I've been told by a VAG specialist that when 12v was applied to the original motors nothing happened. Reverse the polarity and the same result so they were clearly toast. I've put the replacement motors on but still can't clear the fault and because of this can't apply basic settings even with OBDeleven pro. I have a new battery arriving today so once I've fitted that I'll see if it helps as the original was showing low voltage yesterday even with a 4A charger attached.
  4. Hello - me again. I have been told my EPB servo motors have had it so I bought some from a breaker to replace. Is there a correct way to do this? My plan is to remove the caliper, remove the servo, manually wind the piston back, plug in new servo, reattach the caliper and calibrate. Will that work?
  5. Hi, I had to find someone in the Netherlands who had the correct replacement part.
  6. Thanks for the replies. I have VCDS but not the new cable, tried carista, no option. Same for Ancel and XTool..so went old school with my trusty brake spanner and one way pipe. I ended up having to take the r/r wheel off to make it easier to get to the nipple. But a few mins later I have no more spongy pedal. Had a play with Carista while looking for options and have changed the haldex bias to have rear engaged at 20% or whatever it was. Feels like a new car!
  7. I remember looking on this brilliant forum a while back to try to ascertain the location of a rattle from the rear of my 2022 Kodiaq 7 seater. A few suggestions directed me to the second row seat belt clasp as it goes into the roof socket or the ones on the seat but it was still there. I finally discovered what it was and thought it might be useful for others. If you slide the rear seats forward then return them to their correct position, the handle under the front of the seat is the rattle. I found this by lifting it slightly and it seemed to clock into place. Each time I've had the rattle since, just a quick lift if the handle has cured it.
  8. Hi everyone. I had to replace my brake pads this weekend and rather than go into the details of the issue, I think I have introduced air into the system. Is there a way to bleed via the abs pump without VCDS or similar or do I have to go old school and get a spanner out? TIA
  9. What a find!!! Seems 3.50 has brought the bug back, just got to wait for a code release and keep turning it off. Thank you!!
  10. Hi everyone, I have a 2022 Kodiaq L&K and in the last couple of days it's developed an odd issue. When driving my phone audio is connected, but when I get out of the car (engine off, doors shut, car locked) the audio still plays in my phone, but only Audible, not music. It may be the phone side but given there are a million android forums and only one good Skoda one I thought I'd come here first. Phone is Android (Oppo Find X5 pro) and is on version 13 and the last update was weeks ago. This is happening every time I get out and I have to stop Audible playback. Anyone here had the same issue? TIA
