Good Morning guys, I have imported my UK RHD Fabia Mk2 to France. I have a VCDS on its way as i think it is going to come in handy. Headlights are going to be swapped for LHD For the rear lights i need to switch the reverse light and fog light in order to pass my CT (French MOT). Can i recode the lights in VCDS to switch the fog and reverse? or an i better off just hacking up the wiring? (FYI I will be changing bulbs and the drivers lens so that the colours are correct)

It's more about the cost of the parts than the look to be honest. The H7s seem to be more readily available and for less on the second hand market

Hey guys! Thanks for welcoming me to the forums. I am exporting my UK registered Fabia 5j (2010) into France. I therefore have to change the headlights for Right Hand Traffic units. My car currently has the H4 reflector type headlights and I would love to upgrade to the H7 type headlights. I think they look way nicer and are more readily available on the second hand market. Has anyone successfully done this "upgrade"? Are the connectors the same? Thanks in advance
