I bought a used 2015 Octavia 3 and the rear wiper would wipe 4 or 5 times then stop,i would lift the arm up wipe again to get it to finish position and put the arm down again, multiple mechanics told me it's a fault with these wipers, screen washer hose goes through the motor and leaks! Now it has stopped working altogether. I took it out and took it apart, i don't know anything about them but i connected the motor directly without the circuit board to the cigarette lighter socket and it worked, i cleaned the gunk out and reassembled it plugged in the connector on the rear window but nothing worked. I took it apart removed epoxy from Circuit board not really knowing what I'm looking at but used a multi meter to test continuity, only one of the connections to the power socket seemed to be connected ,it must be something to do with the circuit board but it was sealed in epoxy to prevent any damage from water, maybe I'm not testing it the right way...
