Just and update, Mic kit purchased from ebay for £8, fitted to the OE head unit, bit of computer work ankd its works like a dream Thanks to all that replied. Next job is to see if we can retrofit the multi function steering wheel if anyone has done this or has any advice

Thanks for the reply Can I then get phone connectivity if I get it activated? I presume I'd also need to add the mircophone? Is it possible to add the MFSW to the manual without too much drama ?

I'm also trying to work this out but none of the Blacklines that I've seen including mine have the multi function steering wheel like yours
