The problem is when your 80 years old it is not worth the stress of complaining and fighting as it could make you I’ll when I was young I would probably done the job myself as I never used a garage when I was young and able to do any job on a car .cars are so complicated now have a nice day from tedwood

From tedwood wiper stalk is a sealed unit so put problem to my Skoda dealer diagnosis £100. + £100 to fit new stalk + £142 for new stalk = about £342. All working now. Re my Skoda Fabia 111 2015/16 model 38000 miles includes 2 years warranty for new stalk I am happy with result. Collecting car tomorrow.
