It is the same no matter the weather...cold,hot,rain or sunny...it is the same. I was hoping that it will go away but its like this for several months.It started before the winter... they checked it,also the car was on the lift... visually all looks OK I forgot to mention...like I said if I press the break with more force then usually needed while turning the steering wheel there is no sound.but I noticed that when I release the break while the steering wheel is still turned all the way to one side or almost all the way (car still not moving) it still makes the sound until the car starts moving and the steering wheel gets turned the other way. I hope I make some sense...Im a bit rusty with my english.

Hi Its not thatI try to drive with the handbrake engaged a few times it happened that I didnt lower the handbrake all the way...I was in a hurry and it reminded me of that sound. The mechanic used brembo,then to try they used a different brand but now I cant remember which one. When the noise started i have driven at least 1500km....but only when rotateing the wheel for paralel parking or if I have to turn the steering wheel when the car is stopped...while driving or turning the car while is moving there is no sound. Maybe I didnt describe the sound well enough...its not exactly squeaking...more like the noise metal twisting or something like that...but only when parallel parking and only when I rotate the steering wheel. I recorded the sound...its not as clear as hearing it live it is attached. it is the same if I rotate it to the left or right steering wheel.mp3

Hello, first sorry for my english,is a bit rusty hopefully someone will have at least an idea of what could the problem be...like mentioned I have an octavia vrs 2015 DSG and now for some months I hear a strong squeaking (like when the hand brake is not fully disengaged and you try to drive or like some metal twisting like on an old rusty ship...I don know how to describe it better) only when I paralel park...only when the car is stationary and I turn the steering wheel (first one or two turns are ok but then until the end of the rotation the squeaking can be herd). If I press the break paddle with force more then usually needed there is no squeaking (I never had a car or drove a car in which I had to press the break this hard when parking just not to hear that sound). Also I noticed that if I press the break like mentioned with more force until the end of rotating the steering wheel and then disengage the break the sound will return even if the steering wheel is turned all the way on any side and the break disengaged. I hope I make some sense When driving...in curves or on speed bumps or higher speed or lower...the car drives normally and no sounds...only when paralel parking. I had the car checked by two garages and all seems to be fine. They said that its just the way it is...also one of them said that this seems to be common with this model of octavia...still this sound drives me crazy... This started after maybe a month after I replaced (well not me, a mechanic) the rear break pads and disks. They try to replace the pads with new ones to test and also the calippers were checked but still the same. Does anyone have any idea what could be the reason for this sounds? Thank you :D
