  1. Thanks for your reply Simon! Just want to add for others who are also new to using VCDS. When I connected the cable to the Kodiaq and tried to go to "53 - parking brake" I got an error message. I was concerned that the cable did not work with the Kodiaq brake system. But found out that this function is controlled from "03 - ABS brakes". See guide in attached link: http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/VW_Golf_VII_(5G/AU)_ABS_Brakes#Basic_Setting Erik
  2. Hi I have tried to search for this topic. I have a Skoda Kodiaq 2.0TDi 150hk. I need to change rear brake pads and rotors and open the rear brakes with a diagnosis tool. I already have iCarsoft VAG2, but get the message "This function is not supported for this vehicle" when trying the caliper options. Worked fine with earlier VW Passats. So I have decided to buy a Ross tech VCDS HEX 2 3VIN original cable. Will this product support opening and closing the rear brakes? I know it most likely will support it, but my car part dealers web page informs that my car does not support this product.. I also hope this tool can be used to register/tune in a new car battery with the system. Thanks for any help! Erik.
