Fabia VRS, Major Fuel issue
Hi all, I'm hoping someone here can help. In November of last year I bought a Fabia VRS off my mate, it was mapped to 220HP with popcorn and somehow shot flames, as he killed the BLT engine in it (headlift, drank oil, oil level got low and it ruined the bores). I stripped the car down and put a 'new' ASZ into it that was sold as a runner. Despite the fact it is an ASZ, it has been a pretty straight forward swap. The massive issue it is causing me though is that it barely runs and can barely start and rev up. Nearly everything is connected back up to it with the exception of coolant and an intercooler. After cranking for about 10 seconds it finally starts and pours out white smoke that reeks of diesel (I have constantly measured oil levels and it does not change). Watching the fueling quantities on VCDS, it flutters between 4 and 8 MG/S until it is revved and it jumps to around the 11MG/S mark. I have a PD105 BKC and when testing that it doesn't change from 20 MG/S when running at all. I put the original BLT injectors back into the car with the hopes it would make a difference but to no avail, it almost seems to run worse now and after passing 2k RPM it now throws an oil light (my guess being that it is like changing injectors and cranking for ages and the light comes on as it just isn't running well enough?) My only other thought at this point is whether it is the map that is still on the ECU, however it never had an issue running before it was killed. I apologize if this is formatted poorly, I was just trying to put down any information at all that may be relevant. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated as I'm totally clueless as to where to go next. Thanks all

Skoda Fabia Mk1 1.2 6v Impact Bar Replacement
Hello all, Following a front end collision, I need to replace the impact bar on my Fabia. When looking at new bars though I find there are different models. They all have the general part number of "6Y0807109" however some have a letter on the end varying from A to D. Does anyone know what this implicates? I could be barking up the wrong tree but I had guessed it may have something to do with the mounting of them but that is no more than a guess and I could be totally wrong. If anyone knows the difference or the correct model for the Fabia Mk1 1.2 6v (post facelift) then any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to you all and hope you have a nice day :)

Passenger window carrier issue
Just took a look and it is clamped in just as well as the driver one so there is a good chance it is one of the other things that you mentioned. Would you know there anything it could be getting caught on inside the door or failing that what could be creating all the resistance and a way to reduce it? Thanks

A weird problem with my front passenger lock
Thanks for your reply, by that I meant repetitively pressing the lock and unlock buttons in quick succession. I had thought it could have been the switch but hadn't considered the wiring through the door to. Many thanks

Passenger window carrier issue
Hello all! This is one of my first times posting on a forum so I apologize if I format anything incorrectly or my explanation isn’t the best. When I bought my Fabia I looked over it and everything seemed flawless however on the exact same day when I got it home I put down the front passenger electric window, to my horror when I put it back up the window carrier decided to fall apart inside the door. Thankfully the internet exists so I bought a new window carrier off of ebay and changed it over. When I finally put it all back together it worked fine till the window got about 2/3 of the way down where it slows down and sounds like it is struggling. When going to put it back up it will sometimes go up before then going back down on its own accord, I think the most logical conclusion being because it thinks fingers are trapped, then the car has to be shut off and turned on again to put it back up. Needless to say this isn’t ideal but I’d kind of just left it as I don’t really have a need to use it. Is there some way to lubricate it without running the risk of it falling apart again as I don’t really fancy the joy that is getting the rails back together? On my other post I had described an issue with the lock and think it is inevitable that the door is going to have to come apart again so I thought it best to kill two birds with one stone. Thanks to any advice in advance and have a nice day

A weird problem with my front passenger lock
Hello all! This is my first time posting on a forum so I apologize if I format anything incorrectly or my explanation isn’t the best. I’ve got a rather bizarre issue with my front passenger (nearside) lock. When locking the car from the driver door, interior, I hear every door lock and then the passenger door will unlock, however if I press lock, spam unlock and then spam lock again it will lock. The car seems to be unaware as to weather the door is open or closed as the interior light never comes on when the door is open and if I unlock the car with central locking and then open the passenger door it will lock itself on the time out. It locks with central locking 99% of the time but as the lock indicator doesn’t work on it I have to pull the handle just to be sure. I’ve taken every single door apart on the car before to fix something (two seals on the rear, new lock on the driver and new window carrier on the passenger) but I’d rather not have to sink more money in for a new if this is a common fault that can be fixed. Having just said that I need to take apart the door anyway as there is also a problem with the window carrier (I will make another post about that soon so anyone who has experience or knowledge with window carriers and regulators, your help would be massively appreciated.) Many thanks to anyone who may be able to shed some light in advance. Apologies if something doesn’t make sense and I can clarify if need be. Have a nice day :)
