  1. Yeh i had all this with my transit van b4 I had to buy this 2 years ago. It had egr replacement 3 wks after I bought it. I've just been out again and the soot level is creaping back up again so like you say it maybe software or injector fault. Thanks anyway i'll see how i get on. Bloody cars. Vans. Houses. Women. Kids. Dogs 🤣
  2. Hi thanks for replying. I bought a code reader thinking it would help me out but obviously hasn't. I've spent the last 4 wks trying everything possible. I'm thinking of booking it in with skoda just to see if the ecu is out of date. But this scanner as the latest software on. But may not be the correct. I recoded the injectors that were on the injectors to think that would help but it sent it missing all over the place. I disconnected the battery and left it and then reconnected it and it seemed to have cured most of it. I bought a new exhaust temp sensor to see if that wasn't working but the soot levels still carry on building back up. I've put stuff down the sensor pipe to halp flush it out and it did get quite a bit out. Its like a guessing game. I tell the ecu its had a new dpf to cleare the glowplug light but leaves the dpf light on. I've been told to have the dpf smashed out and egr deleted. So god knows i'm thinking of buying a obdeleven or carista to actually see whats going on. I haven't had the injectors changed but when it went into the garage he said it might have 1 leaking as the soot level is building up when idling.
  3. hi did you resolve your turbo problem, i've been told mine is blocked or not working but i had dpf fault code come up. had it regen but get the coil light back on after the engine gets hot. i took the actuator off and the part of the turbo moved freely. i've ordered some cleaner to put in fuel tank achoil to see if that helps. i also struggled to find a quick way of getting mr muscle in with out stripping stuff down
  4. Hi all. Had dpf code come on after dpf light came on then coil light. Had new egr 18months ago. The garage have regenerated dpf. Came home and then next day when into limp mode. I've been smelling fumes through the heater vent when stationary. Back to the garage he's tested all the sensors and regenerated again. He said the soot levels are creaping up when stationary. Any ideas? We are thinking it might be turbo related but a pig to get off and check. Any ideas welcome.
  5. thanks soo much, you have been very helpful
  6. god it does sound a mission to do, i've been trying to find a video on youtube etc to see but haven't come across any decent ones. i'm quite hands on and know i can fit it all just the what i had to do with the electrics
