Hi I have a mystery oil leak, I have oil all underneath the alternator and pooling on top of the air conditioner unit, it's quite a heavy leak which has contaminated the serpentine belt, oil under bonnet, also left cooling fan housing, when stopped the oil runs if the booster pipe and runs and pools on the floor. No visible leaks from valve cover gasket or or cylinder gaskets in fact I can't see any leaks from mating surfaces. Took top timing belt cover off and all clean as a whistle. There is what looks like a hairline crack on top of air con compressor unit but unable to ascertain whether engine oil would pass through this Any suggestions or help would be most appreciated Thank you Porkpie

I am more confused now, there is a hairline fracture or crack on top of this and was sure this was were my oil leak was coming from, would oil come through the air compressor
