That price was from an exhaust fitting centre in Lincoln -- I am still awaiting replies from three other enquiries

I did as you suggested (today) = go to an exhaust centre. I got a quote for just the rear silencer for £424.80 inc' vat and fitting ?

Thank you for your reply. However, as an aside, I contacted an exhaust dealer on ebay - supplied all the details asked for and they have replied today saying that they DO NOT have parts to fit my car - and that is the answer I get everywhere. Infuriating to say the least

Is anyone able to tell me where I can get the rear exhaust box for my = 2014 Mk 3 Octavia 1.4 Tsi petrol hatchback ? I wrote to an ebay supplier giving all the info' they asked for, but no reply Thank you for any replies. My location is Lincolnshire

FROM SKODA UK == There is NO exhaust in stock in the UK for my car - It would have to be ordered (Octavia petrol 1.4 Tsi 2014) from the Czech Republic, would take two weeks for delivery and was priced at £320 inc' vat (Rear box only). Please note this is SKODA UK - reply , verbatim -------- And then they had the cheek to ask "How did we do" for their survey ???? My exhaust box has now been plated / welded locally. Topic now closed - thanks to all who replied

It has a rust split about a foot long in the outer skin of the rear exhaust box (MOT advisory)

Information for others reference trying to get an exhaust for my car Skoda UK reply = contact your local dealership. So I did. Hortons, Skoda (Lincoln) have today (30/6/23) advised me that there is no exhaust in the UK for my Octavia. 1.4 TSI petrol. Only way to get one would be via order, placed at dealership and the exhaust would be ordered for me and would come from the Czech Republic at a cost of £320 inc' vat - and take 7 - 10 days for delivery. I am looking at potentially having it welded locally.

Thank you for your response I have contacted Hortons and currently awaiting their reply. Local garage is that (Local) Village garage who service my car . 4 online exhaust suppliers all said unable to supply. Thank you

Dear members - your advice please -- my car (Octavia Mk3) needs a new exhaust rear box. ( 1.4 tsi petrol) My question is where to obtain one ? My local garage (Lincolnshire) has been unable to get one - and I have made 4 online enquires all of whom came back and said unable to supply Any pointers welcomed Thank you all.
