  1. Since posting have solved this myself. One tooth out on the smaller cam belt, surprising as the power was still good. Lucky to get away without bent valves I guess. πŸ€”
  2. I recently replaced the water pump on my Fabia and since then have a lumpy idle problem. If you rev the engine and then let it settle idle is normal for 30 seconds or so then becomes lumpy. No fault codes are present, no starting problems and the car has plenty of power. I have checked for air leaks and found nothing obvious. When the pump failed the overheat warning lamp came on but the engine was not seriously hot. I am concerned I might have damaged the head gasket but I do not seem to be losing coolant. Any suggestions would be most welcome. Thanks.
