Recently, when turning on the ignition, I get a clicking sound from behind the glove box. The sound disappears after about 10 secs. It seems there is a small motor there which regulates a flap for directing cold and warm air. This small motor has a plastic cam which gets damaged and then cannot connect and makes a clicking sound. It seems straight forward to replace BUT you first need to remove the glove box. I removed all 5 screws (3 top and 2 bottom), disconnected the air bag, the interior light and the cold air hose BUT the glove box will still not come out! I am reluctant to use too much force in case I break something. It also seems that the glove box is connected to the trim on the left side of the dashboard. Does this also need to be loosened? Does anybody have any experience of this? Many thanks Peter1950
