I have Android 16 on my phone too. It should be fine, I hope. The dongle I got is an EVARY Android Auto Wireless dongle but there are loads of them out there.

I have a 2020 Kamiq with a woefully out of date infortainment system that only very occasionally connects to my Samsung S23Ultra. What I had to do was buy an Android Auto dongle. It plugs into your USB port, and your phone connects to that instead of your car. It's still fiddly. The phone still tries to connect to the car and I see pairing requests after Android Auto is already connected to my phone. I also bought a phone holder for those times when my phone refused to work with that, and I need navigation. It still happens.

@Kamiq2022AAnotworking thanks for the reply. Hopefully @FnLn tried it. My car was in for a service a few weeks ago. I mentioned AA not working, but I would have been very surprised if they had tried the update.

@FnLn @Kamiq2022AAnotworking did that update fix Android Auto and your S23Ultra? I'm going to presume by the lack of replies that it didn't? I have the same issue, but once in a blue moon my phone will connect via Bluetooth. In the months I've had the phone, I think it worked less than 5 times altogether. I've taken to using a second phone for AA, using my S23Ultra as a hotspot. Very frustrating. @lastgasp - AA is very handy for Google maps and also for listening to podcasts or music. The podcast/music interface is much better than using the Media player in the car.
