Has it always done so, and have you had it checked out?

I noticed one of my tyres was flat, and then when pumping it up noticed that the metal was coming through on the inside edge, even though the middle and outer looked fine. Then I saw a similar wear pattern on the other tyre, and that my damper covers looked eff'ed up. Are these related? Thanks, Ed
