so for my own clarification I can swap the alloys and now warnings should come up except the initial type pressure warning due to swapping the alloys but it should not and will not reoccur?

Hello, Recently bought new alloys to replace the 16Inch Škoda ones. can anyone advise wether I need to take it somewhere to get any pressure sensors swapped? heard Chinese whispers about having the tyre pressure light coming on if not fitted or swapped with the tyre pressure sensor in the current alloys.

Hello Owners, looking for advice my MK3 Fabia (Hatchback) is currently lowered 35mm front and rear on springs looking to lower the back because its still looking very high can anyone help or recommend a set of 40/45mm springs as struggling to find any and if you could help locate them sold in twos as the front fitment is perfect would be even more appreciated. <3

Hello, I took my car to the garage a while ago for a broken window reg, When I got it back the door panel was all scratched (pictures provided) it’s one of the my best local garages so didn’t challenge I usually get this cheaper in this garage anyways due to personal ties, But overtime it’s bothered me looking to get it replaced or cover it in the sticky suede cut out to cover it any ideas?

Hello, Been looking about hard to find anywhere that sells anything specific thought i'd come on for some advice and people to point in the right direction, Looking for some lowering springs, Wheel Spacers and Big Brake upgrades (Or just brake upgrades) Need people to give links and experience with said upgrades. Been looking into interior upgrades anyone got any recommendations on an upgraded center console as mines seems to be low spec and old looking to modernize it Cheers

Thank you for looking for positives this is true I live on a very narrow windy street and a lot of children play through summer it will be useful the kids like to stare and ask questions aswell always a good topic

I can see a lot of people are not happy with my decision I can see why but at the end of the day at my age it’s impossible to get a car that is the part need to make do with what you’ve got I don’t think I’ll regret it.

I know where you are both coming from and I do apologise but it’s exactly as the post above you guys said yolo I might come to regret it but right now I’m enjoying also not to be a complete ****head but the police in and around my city don’t care wether it is speeding or car mods it’s all paperwork to them. I enjoy how my car sounds (under 80db ;)) and I also enjoy trying to get the max performance from my car even though it is a little Skoda

Still am on heavy insurance but with the insurance scandals and all atm I expect at the end of the year that will change, I have looked I have a good tuners I’ll have a look for good breaks and springs. Sorry I put CE each time like it’s special it’s just a colour edition.

Hello, After much debate and it being payday I decided to go back and get a quote on a mid box delete (resonator) I went back to the place where I had my back boxes deleted and they done it in under 40 minutes. I was skeptical about how the car would sound at first but I think when it had the back box delete the car was clearly missing its potential sound now with the straight pipe from the secondary cat onwards it sounds great and I’m very pleased I’m thinking of finally posting pictures and videos of my car but still looking for lowering springs (please link below) and a few other ideas as I’ve done everything I want to I might upgrade breaks and take it for a tune but not sure on what’s breaks to go for (again please link below) or where to take it to be tuned But just thought I’d put a post out for anyone not sure about it with the same model I’m 20 a typical boy racer YOLO I love it sounds great DO IT!

@nta16 Honestly some great advice that I might act up on, The fantasy itself has come from the modern day car scene you need to have a car with crazy BHP to be seen as cool, I think I will starting off actually follow your advice and then hopefully when I get some NCD Under my belt I would enjoy to have a nice daily with some decent performance as well as you mention a older car to not forget how far cars have come.

@nta16 Hi mate, tbf I think if you asked most young people why would you pay more for no black box it’ll always be the same answer to speed. don’t get me wrong I don’t condone speeding but most of these companies won’t allow you to go 1MPH over limit without some sort of harsh message or the threat of policy cancellation I like rolling about not minding if I’m over the limit a little bit when the speed is change on a dual, Then again I just don’t feel like being watched while driving.

I expected it to be fair the noise actually isn’t bad performance gains for a 1.2 TSI are expected can’t really do much with them but yeah, As a whole I think insurance at this age for anyone is stupid can’t get to do what you really want without fearing for your wage, need to wait till I’m insured for 5 years to get a car I even want and then do whatever I want to it..

Hello, I’m looking to possibly stage 1 my Fabia (any recommendations for places in Glasgow send me links) I’ve been looking into it as it is such a small engine and the performance gains are not that great. has there been any issues with the engine or any other parts of the car after a remap on these vehicles, my specific model is a 1.2 TSI 4 Cyl, just wanted to know before I do anything people also recommended changing breaks so any links for breaks would be highly appreciated. This car is pretty much stock except a back box delete and I might possibly straight pipe it looking for advice first and then will go ahead and start doing it. thanks.

Hi everybody sorry for the late reply, This is a non black box policy. In my person opinion I think it’s better regardless of money spent but when I first got my insurance it was 4K for black box 6K for normal policy. since I’ve checked quotes and prices have dropped DRASTICALLY talking about 3k for non black box policy I think unfortunately I’ve jumped in at the wrong time. since this post I’m now paying around 6.7K Annually due to vehicle mods (back box delete) which isn’t good but I can afford it (barely) I can’t stop my policy and opt for anything else because of down payments and whatever else it’s basically the same as paying for my whole current policy. so just going to have to tough it out looking to do plenty more mods and will see about the insurance company pricing up these mods.

Hi Mate this is the cheapest quote without black box, I own the car and am the insured driver as both my parents have had insurance claims or points on license what not occupation I don’t think is an issue I’m a civil servant, I live in a decent area both my parents insurance isn’t cheap but isn’t near expensive as this I’m only 20 years old And yes any changes to the vehicle have been thrown out the window…

Hello I passed my test in December 2023, I bought my car July of 2023 Once I passed I of-course go to insure it only to find out its 6K a Year, This just doesn't seem right to me talking to other they think the same, The car is a 2017 CE Skoda Fabia no mods yet, Just want some advice.
