  1. Thanks for your kind reply and advice, I turned ON all the individual POIs putting the green tick against them all, there's dozens and dozens of them, exited the menu, turned off the ignition and waited a few mins before turning the ignition back on. I went back to the menu, turning OFF all the individual POIs, removing the green tick from each element, exited the menu and turned off the ignition. Again, I waited for a few minutes before turning the ignition back ON - sadly, all the POIs are still littering the map. The system is absolutely broken. The whole point of having selectable POIs is that they can either be turned on/off which unfortunately does not appear to be working in my vehicle. As you said, the system is crap.
  2. Apologies, I'm going to ask this question again, I raised it back in July but didn't receive a reply. I'm finding the Sat Nav map display very frustrating: Navigation settings - Define preferred POI categories In the settings I don't have any POIs selected (set favourite categories are all set to off) yet the map is absolutely littered with them. I don't want any POIs displayed. As an example, there's no tick against Schools in the list of POIs yet they all show up on map when I drive close to one. The same goes for all POIs, fuel stations, shops, restaurants, hotels, guest houses etc etc The vehicle has been into the dealership today, the issue was brought to their attention, they've reset the system but the POIs are all still cluttering up my map, it's extremely frustrating. Why have the option in the POI categories menu to select specific POIs, (and there's an extremely long list of them) if they're all going to show up on the map despite my preference to have them not show on the map. Is there any way of removing all the POIs from the navigation screen map ? Does anyone have a solution ? Thanks
  3. Hi I'm new to this forum, hoping I can get some help with a couple of issues I've got. I'm driving a Superb iV SE L which I've only just had delivered new from the dealership a few weeks ago. I'm finding the infotainment system quite frustrating: 1 - Navigation settings - Define preferred POI categories In the settings I don't have any POIs selected (set favourite categories are all set to off) yet the map is absolutely littered with them. I don't want any POI displayed, is there any way of removing all the POIs from the navigation screen map ? 2 - Radio / Media volume Is there a memory setting anywhere so the infotainment system remembers what the volume was when you last exited and locked the vehicle. Quite a lot of the time I drive around with the volume on the radio/media muted, I'll leave the vehicle and lock it yet when I get back in again the volume on the radio/media is back on when I'm expecting the vehicle to remember it was muted when I last used it. It's really annoying having to mute the volume each time I get in and start the vehicle. In the volume settings menu there is a Maximum Switch on Volume, the lowest it will go is 3. Thanks
