Hello.
This is Skoda Superb MK 2 1.9 TDI 77KW 2008 year model.
Ive ran into a problem last night when my car gave me an message coolant low, check. I immidiatly stopped the car, saw that the level was down from norm. I added up an liter of coolant, and drove home.
So now ive inspected the car and found a major leak near the thermostat.
What is causing this leak? I did some air compressor on it and it went dripping. I thought it was coming from water pump at first but the engine vibration just got the coolant everywhere.
What is the part name or part number what i need to change, and what is the main possible cause on this, because i inspected it and it looks like its not broken or anything just at the top theres leaking coolant out, its not plastic, i guess its metal or something.
Any ideas? Ive changed thermostat about 3-4 months ago in the winter time.
Added a picture pointing where is the leak, near the sensor pin where it holds on. I pointed a red arrow near it. The pipe is kinda long and i dont see the end i have to take stuff away.
