The pads are only 20% worn and the car was bought from the Skoda dealership

Just had car in for oil change service at 20000 miles, had it for 8 months and it's just over 2.5 years old. All good except discs front and back have rust around outside edges, discs only worn 20%. Skoda put it as advisory and quoted at over £1k, I appreciate that all discs corrode, the actual surfaces are ok. My gripe is u have only had the car 8 months and done less than 3k miles, should this not have been picked up when thd car was bought and after 8 months of ownership, should I be facing a £1k repair bill. Mot due 6 months, what the chances Skoda fail it.

Miraculously all working again

Since this update 2 days ago, these 2 apps and shop no longer open, just spinning circle and please wait, anyone else seen this

My previous car was the phev ioniq, it always maintained 36 miles on full charge... However the last 5 or so didn't last 5 miles, more like 2.

Is there anyway to determine actual battery health in the settings. Temps around 8 degrees in County Durham but full charge only getting 30 miles, even in Summer 34 miles. Had Ioniq prior to Octavia, it had smaller 9kw battery but always displayed 36 miles regardless of seasons when fully charged.

Looks issue with Skoda, now when I request temperature or try to pre heat it gives error that they are working on....

I couldn't get in the app at all, it just said no vehicle data

Has anyone got an issue with connecting to Skoda Connect and switching on pre heat when the car is frozen. Mine this morning could not find the vehicle at all, tried the app and online website, it said no vehicle information found. Amazingly now it's warmed up connects fine, might have been another server issue, I'll find out if it does the same tomorrow.

I never knew about the rear footwells having coloured lights

The only reason I ask is I was in a skoda superb taxi and noticed it had the illuminated rear inside doors

Does the mk4 vrs iv have the led door lights in the rear doors too or just the front doors and along the dash

Tried all day to connect, it's not having it.

Cheers, wasn't too sure this was standard on an added extra.

Where does the heat come from to warm the cabin, I used to have an ioniq phev and it fired up the engine to heat the cabin, noticed the Octavia today didn't, but was blowing warm air.

So when driving on EV and say its down to 10%, if on motorway I go into hybrid, if I set the minimum battery charge level then to 50%, will the car attempt to charge the battery too.

I saw this today, does it have to be changed everytime

What settings do I need to allow the batteries to charge whilst on motorway driving.

If far is plugged in and air con / heat is selected, also app set to use battery, because the car is receiving power from charger, would it use battery or charger power.
