1. Well i got it with some pliers but im not sure how to call them in english... adjustable-joint pliers, tongue-and-groove pliers, water pump pliers?? They worked, u need to press the points inwards.
2. I want to fix the images but i cant edit my posts.... leeks to me an feature every forum should have....
3. I have an coolant leak somewhere. But i cant find where it leaks. The car has been at the garage they refitted some stuff on the right hand side. (cilinder 4 side) Because they thought the leak was from somewhere there. But that did not help. I still have a leak. I need to refill like 1 liter every 200KM/s I saw and read that a common problem was a leaky intercooler in the intake. So i unscrewd the MAP sensor. Is was oily so i decided to remove the intake. There is some oil in the intake. The throttle body has oil, the pipe to the turbo also has an oil resedue. Can someone please tell me what is wrong? And does this explain the loss of coolant ? The car has i think a faulty coil. But that is an problem that came after the coolant leak. I already ordered a new coil. The car does run good. No stutter and seems to have all the power it should have. I Think... i bought the car when it already that the coolant issue but i did not know about this. So i never drove an 1.4TSI that rides like it should.... Few months ago we went for a long drive knowing we had to refill every few 100 km's but on the highway, but we did not need to add coolant. i think it uses more water when driving short distances. But im not sure that about that. Ik have made some photo's https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjBg2pC IMG-20240301-WA0029 by rick rick, on Flickr IMG-20240301-WA0033 by rick rick, on Flickr This is the tube from throttle body to the turbo. It also has oil resedue inside 20240301_142311 by rick rick, on Flickr 20240301_142339 by rick rick, on Flickr 20240301_142724 by rick rick, on Flickr
4. Its a 1.4TSI CAXA engine (cant seem to edit my previous post)
5. Im trying to remove my intake because i beleve it has an coolant leak. But i cant seem to remove the right side line. I think it is connected to the throttle body(not sure what its called) Just like in this video at this moment. There seems te be 2 clips on the sides but do i need to press them in? Pull them upwards? Im not sure. Offcourse i dont have any special VW tools so im working with screwdrivers and what not.
6. I have bought a second hand Octavia FL mk2 with a working Swing radio, so no problems there. But it did not come with a radio code. Now i'm gonna swap to an Medeke m500s android radio. Is there a way to retrieve the pincode maybe using VCDS of something else? I found using the search that the code is stored in my car computer and when i reconnect the radio it should work. But what if i wanted to sell this radio? (i dont think anyone would buy it...) then i would like to sell it with the right pincode.
