  1. fitted the discs and pads from the ebay shop. what a massive difference from the pieces of **** that was on it before. replaced the front brakes and changed the springs to the Eibachs. feels like a completely different car now
  2. Is it worth the size upgrade though when it's not really getting hammered anywhere? It's mostly my mrs that's driving it to work and back, but I just feel the brakes that are on it now are the cheapest of the cheap for it to pass an MOT and be traded in. so is the cost increase worth it over the ones sepulchrave posted? you know what the roads around Ayrshire are like lol, can barely speed anywhere with the potholes
  3. might look into upgrading the size of the front then
  4. how are you getting on with these? the brakes in mines are ****, genuinely struggle to slow down at times with them. desperately need an upgrade but the price of the Brembos is a joke
  5. there is a bulb beside them that doesn't work. the both come on when it's full beam
  6. it's definitely weird that both work, as every other VRS I've saw only has the projector that works
  7. might be a stupid question, but can anyone tell me what bulb goes into the headlights? I know that the Projector part is H7 but there's another bulb in my unit that only goes on with full beam, and can't get into it to see what type of bulb it is. from most Fabias/VRS' at this age it seems to be only the projector light that actually works so it's a bit strange
  8. feel like I'm missing something here and I'm a complete idiot haha
  9. It’s blue mate. I’ll try get a picture of it later for you 🙂

  11. Long shot, but hoping someone on here has a spare set of wind deflectors? I've got the front 2 on my vrs but one of them is cracked and needs replaced. I can't find any on eBay at a reasonable price
  12. cheers mate, you're a lifesaver lol. this dump valve is getting on my nerves, I absolutely despise it. On that note, anyone want an RTMG Dump Valve? hahaha
  13. Cheers for the pic, gives me a bit more confidence buying them lol. The official Skoda ones are £55 on eBay though, unreal pricing for a mudflap lol
  14. Yeah I thought that about the mudflaps but seen a few comments of people saying they had to make slight cuts to the back bumper for the rear ones to fit
  15. I also meant to put in the first post. Is the standard mudflaps for the mk2 just plug and play? My brothers got them on his and it makes the car look much better
  16. Recently bought a VRS and the guy who had it before me put a dump valve in it 😭 I absolutely despise the noise it makes and in all honesty have no idea what part I need to make it stock again lol. Can someone link me the relevant part please? I need this out ASAP before it drives me mental. It also has the Eibach Pro Springs but needs a new set of tyres, is the 205/40/17s the way to go? Or would the 215s work better for grip? We drive an xdrive BMW mostly so it’s a major change from that to the VRS. Any help is appreciated 😁
  17. Nice one. Cheers mate. Wouldn’t happened to have done any sound proofing on yours have you? The noise in the car compared to my 4 series is deafening lol. Definitely a rattle coming from the drivers door that’s sickening me 😂 I’ve got an absolute cheek to even complain, I’ve driven it about 10 times since we bought it
  18. Its not really for me, I’m barely in it lol. She’s just absolutely **** at parking
  19. Hi all, just recently bought a 2011 Fabia VRS as a second car and was wondering how easy it is to retrofit parking sensors? The garage I bought it from told me the rear bumper has been replaced due to a pretty deep scuff but wasn’t sure if the previous owner had said it had parking sensors before the change. Is it easy enough to check the boot to see if it’s all there and just the sensors that are needed? Mrs is really struggling to get used to a car with no sensors 😂😂
