  1. Timing belt for oil pump

    I will be changing the timing belt on a 63 plate 2.0 TDI. When doing my research I noticed that there is another timing belt that drives the oil pump, this belt is hidden behind a cover. When I purchased the timing belt kit the oil timing belt was not included. Does this belt need to be changed as well when completing the timing belt? I guess it will be wise to change it. Any one done it? Can’t seam to find information on this belt. KR Paul

    I need to replace the water pump and timing belt on a 63 plate 2.0 TDI 150 BHP engine. When looking at the various kits available, I have noticed that some kits sell a non switchable water pump and some sell a switchable water pump. How do I determine what water pump I require?
