  1. Hi, Sorry i totally forgot about the post i made. I called the dealership to bring the car in so they could fix it. When i drove the car for like 200 meter i started to notice that some lights go out. And the dash gave me a fault for start/stop system. I parked the car on the side of the road and turned ignition off, waited a few seconds and turned it back on. All the lights where gone. Drove back to my house and plugged the VCDS cable back in. Most errors where gone and after a clear DTC i had no errors left. So i don't know what happend there butt yeah it's fixed 😅. ECS is a dutch company that makes cable's for trailers. It is a well known company, but i am not sure if they ship there cable's across the world. So it is normal that you did not heard of it. Thanks anyway 👍
  2. Hello, I just installed a tow bar with cable from ECS ( ecs VW146D1 ). So after installing everything on the car, the car was a bit of a christmas tree with al the lights and faults. i began to code the car. CAN gateway - Enable 69-Trailer BCM - Controller 09 - Enable Byte 1 Bit 1 - Trailer Hitch control module installed Engine - this may vary between engine types - Enable Byte 5 Bit 4 - Trailer installed ABS - Adaptations - change Vehicle & Trailer Stabilisation to Activated Park Assist - Byte 3 - Change to 01 Trailer Hitch Installed (manually removable) Byte 1 - Set to 01 - Trailer connector diagnosis active then there was Trailer - Byte 3 - Choose the appropriate option , but i does not open the trailer menu, so i cant code this one. but now after coding everyting the car stil has a phew faults that dont go away. so i made a log of the faults ( it is in the attatchment ) is there someone that can help me diagnose the problem. kind regards lorenzo Log-1XUR334-TMBJU7NE1K0132922-50268km-31235mi.txt
