  1. Pasquale2000 You need to keep on to the dealer with videos of the problem help. my dealer was very good it is Skoda. I just could not see them resolving the problem and have just purchased another make of car. Good luck.
  2. As from today i no longer own my Skoda due to thinking this has been a jinx this year. As for infotainment had a new module you may still get issues even in winter hope i'm wrong. Good luck.
  3. Module was replaced earlier in the year, only to find the new one is as bad.
  4. Not tried this, have not found drainage of battery issue.
  5. Booking in for service next week, will get them to do an electrical inspection at same time. Keep you posted how it goes.
  6. Hello I have a Fabia, this problem is also on Scala and believe Kodiaq.
  7. Hello, I’m due an oil change very soon, firmware at moment is on 1800. New module does seem worse than previous had to pay towards this there does seem to be something up with the system in general as once or twice the dash cam has gone off and on. This is on a mk4 2022 plate Monte Carlo. Will update when serviced. On one of the many visits and videoing the issues they done a diagnostic on the electrical system and found the module to be faulty and is across several models 2021 on wards.
  8. NextBase dashcam always comes up on my iPhone with message saying this is not supported by this device, can anyone help.
  9. Skoda like other car manufactures will try & get out of anything they can, i was told the module would take between 4to6 weeks to get in 2 days later i received a phone call letting me know the part was in whether this needs an update still having same problem. This was going in for service last week, was too early as no service needed, told the service same issues & the unit felt like second hand but told they only use new. Service is at end of year, will ask for diagnostics on electrics. Hope Rob you have more luck. Perhaps getting in touch directly with Skoda through one of the media channels they might just get their fingers out as nobody likes bad reviews.
  10. I took videos of the module shutting down and restarting as evidence , Skoda knows of this problem and it is about time they sorted not doing the name any good if others can solve why can’t vw/skoda . Have had battery disconnected just waiting now to see if sorted problem.
  11. good morning infotainment problem had new module fitted just come back from holiday found worse than the original, had fuse out for approx. 2 days fine for trip to London o2 journey back would not play ball. have now battery disconnected will see what it's like later. did see a little while ago that Toyota recalled several thousand of their cars over infotainment problems, if they can do this why Skoda cannot do this.
  12. it seems if all else fails reboot, thanks as i have a fabia monte carlo 2022. having same issue. this problem is on several skoda models. they certainly need to do something about this issue. lastly infotainment module has just been replaced but still got glitch.
  13. hi everyone infotainment module replaced vw/skoda problem not gone away still have a glitch. looks like we have just got to put up with it. need to go back to old ways of switches & buttons.
  14. hi everyone my local Skoda dealer has finally sorted the problem of the faulty infotainment module and as a good will gesture been given 90% off, hopefully this is going to iron out the problem. Shame this does not come under recall as this occurs on many models.
  15. Who else is having a problem with the display on their mk4 Fabia, as keeps going blank then comes back to life after a couple of minutes. This is when i listen to a flash drive & when i have attached a phone for google maps. Have taken to my local Skoda dealer to which they have had codes from Skoda to which no avail. Is Skoda going to sort this or is there a fix.
