  1. No, I want to take mine out and put leather ones in instead!
  2. Dear all, I have a Fabia Mk3 estate Monte Carlo. I am a leather technician and work mainly with leather car seats so I would like to replace the fabric ones in my Fabia. I am looking to buy 2nd hand and then restore the seats and recolour them to the Monte Carlo spec. My question is: does anyone know what seats I should be looking for that will fit correctly into the car and the existing rails etc? Thanks.
  3. I wasn't geared up to empty the sump by that point so I put 3L of new oil in and cracked on. The level is at about max so I would estimate the extractor left behind some oil (minus whatever was in the filter). However, I haven't topped the oil up since putting 4L in last year (levels have been fine) so it's difficult to say how much was burned off. Hope that helps!
  4. Thanks, that answers my question perfectly. Much appreciated!
  5. Yeah, I was just trying to avoid that as I don't have ramps and wanted a cleaner job.
  6. The extractor tube definitely hits bottom, is that what you mean? Sorry, I am very much a novice!
  7. Hi all, I serviced my 2017 Fabia 1.2TSI today and used a Pela 6000 oil extractor. I definitely had it in fully and working properly but it only took 2 Litres out. Has it left a load of oil behind or could I have been that low on oil to start with? I was wondering if the sump is maybe an awkward shape for that device. Thanks.
