For those interested. Had the four 16" Octavia wheels with Falken 215.60.16 tyres fitted today. Total excercise cost me £740. Very happy with outcome.... Better ride & much less chance of kerbing the alloys. Plenty clearance between front caliper & inside of wheel. Replacement tyres in future at 100 quid rather than 200.

Just like to thank everyone for their comments. Wheels away for powder coating. Will post some pics of car with new wheels tyres on in 10 days or so.

You may well be right... Did a trial fit this afternoon. Not much of a gap tween extremity of caliper & inner rim

Yorkshire roads really are little better than cart tracks in many places.... The extra sidewall should offer a bit more comfort. If I want to get a move on ... I've a few motorcycles ....

Good Morning Chaps Am sick of harsh ride on the 19" craters & 40 profile tyres. Intending to fit 215 x 60 x 16" tyres. Would appreciate if someone could tell if this will work OK.... Thanks Ian 😊
