Few days ago I started having a peculiar problem in my 2005 Octavia elegance 1.9d tdi pd 77kw, BJB or BxB. When I put the key in contact position, lights flash and if I wait 5 to 10 seconds red oil lamp starts flashing and beeping g. When I start the car the lamp goes off. Drove around 20km in town since this and no difference in engine sound or other. Day before I noticed it the lamp for low oil was on once I started engine just below the minimum, so i topped about 200ml of oil. That was after a 1500km trip. Also for about half a year the orange oil lamp was flashing when contact on, which I understood meant a failing oil level sensor, so I regulary checked oil level on stick. Did a service about 10k kilometers before, changed water pump, timing belt, tensioners and other that goes with it. 5W-40 oil, noticed a slight oil consumption, about from the middle of the stick to minimum in a service interval of about 10-12k kilometers. The check engine light is from a disconecter airflow sensor, wass stalling my engine, runs nice without it, bulb light is from a fog light without bulb, can not find replacement here and airbag is probably a damaged connection while cleaning under and around drivers seat.
