Hi all Just purchased a MY17 Octavia RS162, all option packs, otherwise stock with 90k km on it. Came across the forum a lot in researching so thought I better join. I'm a BMW Master Tech by trade, only cars I've worked on for a quid over the last 20 years. Have owned and modified a dozen odd Jap cars when I was younger (though I recently picked up a Z32 300zx as a project car) and more recently had an M140i for a few years in between the random company BMW demos been driving for the last 7 years. Decided I wanted my own car again and the Octavia just ticked more boxes then the competition, coming from BMW I'm amazed at how much car you get for the dollar. Will be starting with some cosmetics, springs, wheels, tune and bass to start with and then I guess we'll just see how much funds it steals from the Z going forward.
