  1. Had a Octavia 2.0 TDI 150 hp and the water pump died, so the temperature of the water was very high and i think it was loosing coolant
  2. Hey there ans sorry for the delay, but work is going on. So, replying to you: The engine is not puffing air but i did a test where i removed the cap and throtled the engine and the water would rise up. There is no burping air/bubbling. I tested the water with chemical testers at a repair store and they confirmed that there is smoke on the water. So, i went to the mechanic and he told me that there are 3 options: water pump is dying, head gasket broken, egr cooler broken or engine has a crack or something. So just the next week they will do a pressure check on the egr cooler
  3. Also at times at the start of engine i hear a leaking souns coming from the air vents, but i assume this is the coolant sound from the cooling system of the AC. The sound is something like pouring water into a glass or something like that
  4. Thank you for the feedback. Don't want to complain but at the moment i am extremely ****ed. The problems on my car keep on coming. Only yesterday my wife said that it took 2 tries to start the car, as in it the engine kept on trying for some time to start and after that all the bells and whistles were glowing on the dashboard, error on the rain wipers, error on the steering wheel, error on the front camera etc. After the third try, it started without a problem. After she got home i tried mysef starting the car and guess what, it started first hand BUT the engine was blowing out diesel fuel from the diesel filter cap. Stoped the engine, checked the filter cap, started the engine, again no problem, no spilling. So at this moment all that i am thinking is that after i run a full service on the car which is planned on the Skoda service this morning, is to put the car on sale. As for the informations required, i bought it second hand at 83000 km, full service at Skoda in Germany, no problems to this point, no additional and recent work, even through the history. Sorry for the complaining but, right now i a very dissapointed
  5. Good morning. I have a 2019 Skoda Superb with a 2.0 TDI 190 HP Dsg engine with 90000 km and it started to give an error that the coolant level is dropped and must be refilled. I have noticed that this happens in the morning after the engine has cooled down and it happens now and then, without a certain frequency. The thing is that when i open the cap, the coolant rises up to almost full level again, like there is a vacuum somewhere or pressure. I also need to top up the coolant but not very much, 100 ml -150 ml. What could be the problem? Thank you!
