Hi, I'm after some assistance with my 67 plate Octavia Vrs (2.0 Diesel). Hot air is only coming out of the passenger side and the left centre vent (RHD). Drivers side is barely lukewarm. I've tried to read through other threads and tried some self diagnosis but I'm a little stuck now. So far I've done - Flap calibration - Checked that both metal pipes off the heater matrix are hot ( my fingers confirm that they are both very hot!!) - Coolant in tank appears pink, not rusty or milky - Looked at the Fan Motor while doing the flap calibration, and it appears that the cogs are moving, although as it gets to the end of the calibration, the white cogs no longer move, but it appears that there is an arm further up behind the centre console vents, that is still moving about. There is a creaking sound at this point which I have seen others mention, but in those cases, the cogs didn't seem to move at all at any point. I don't know where to go next with it and wondered if anyone has done the above and still having the issue, or know what else may cause this? I fear it could be expensive, but don't fancy freezing my arse off through the winter! Any assistance or thoughts would be gratefully received.
