  1. I have the missfortune of being a bit too familiar with partsinmotion 😂😂
  2. Aha I wrote this quickly on the phone at work, the PR number was 1KS not SS, impatience got the better of me when I got home so I went at it to see what I could work out. I now know that it’s a 38mm piston. Having got the other half to reluctantly push pedals and pull leavers i am semi confident that the issue lies in the retracting of the piston after the handbrake is released. I have sprayed it with a load of lubricant where appropriate and will get onto ordering a new caliper this week
  3. I have discovered a sticking rear brake and was planning to get ahold of a rebuild kit. But for the life of me I cannot find the correct part numbers, I have phoned a few skoda branches who apparently cannot give me part numbers. The PR code on my car is 1SS and it is an early 2012 car. From what I can tell its either a 38mm Piston or a 41mm Piston, but i have not a clue which without getting to the car with a tape measure. Does anyone have any insight before i go for taking the wheel of and measuring for you.
  4. Pretty much just some garage ticking all the tick boxes, you know the typical crap
  5. Not to my knowledge with it being worked on, this car definitely has a paper service book and a 12 year warranty that’s been confirmed by ŠKODA and is in the (I think) original warranty handbook the corrosion has been regularly ticked albeit not by ŠKODA
  6. Hello all I have just taken my rear bumper off my 2012 estate and discovered some lovely rotten through body panels any advice as to weather this is likely to be covered by the skoda anti perforation warranty
