Hi all,
Wondering if anyone can provide some advice please.
I have Octavia vrs mk3 2015 in Sydney Australia.
Recently the airflow from the 2 front center vents has stopped. I have done some research and tried the recalibration of the auto air direction flap control by pressing and holding 2 of the buttons (cant remember which 2 right now) until they start flashing automatically change the air flow through all vents. That didn't work (no air flow through 2 center vents at any point in the process or after). I have had a play around with all the manual vent dials and control on the front, and visually inspected the two vents (without removing anything) from in the car, and cant see any blockages.
From the AC manual link below it appears that it might be the air distribution motor flap control motor which needs/inspection or replacing? However it still seems to control all other vents as required, except for allowing air out of the 2 front center vents.

I am due to take it in to Skoda for a service and get them to fix it (which will cost $$$s im sure), is there anything else i can check myself to try and solve the issue. I must add I don't have many car mechanic skills and no specialist tools, only generally mechanically minded and general tool kits for fixing bikes etc.
Replacing a air distribution motor flap control motor would appear a little out of my depth i think form looking at the manual (section 10.5 -replacing air distribution motor flap control motor?
Are there any ducts i should access and check for blockages easily?
Thanks in advance
