Had a prob with that CV joint a while back, it was changed about 2 years ago but I suspected that the boot was split as there was grease on the inside of the wheel but not there anymore. Could it be that as I want to go back to garage with an idea what it could be. There was an advisory on something to do with the o/s/f but canny remember what, I'm up in Tain for weekend so don't have my MOT to hand, selling car soon so need it sorted.

Had a rumbling noise which sounds if coming from o/s/f. Took into local garage, mechanic came out and listened and agreed with me if could be the wheel bearing, got if booked in and changed bearing which was on its way out but car is still making the rumbling noise. Anyone else had this issue.

Gathered that AMD87 it is feckin annoying not being able to as it was a feature on my Mk1.

Really enjoyed mine for 5 years and gonna keep it for a while yet, but this dash dim is doing my head in. Aye bit of a thaw on tomorrow starting on the beautiful west coast.

I have had my Fabia vrs mk2 since new for 5 years and for the life of me I cannot find a way to dim down the dash particularly whilst driving at night. In my vrs mk1 there was a roller wheel to the right of the steering wheel to dim the dash but nothing on mk 2, any help out there please, I know its been 5 years but whilst driving the other night I realised why I was getting blinded at night, the feckin dash its to bright.

Cheers for that George I've not noticed any coolant loss yet only excess oil use over the last year, getting quite expensive in purchasing oil. Cheers Willie

My car is coming up for 5 years old with 24,000 miles on the clock and my question is when do I need to change the timing belt, any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers for that fabiamk2se I can here so what size bulb do I need then is it the H4.

Managed to get the bulb out ok but tight, only one filament so the beam must adjust in the headlight itself, cheers for the help.

I did notice that the blue bulbs are wired but obviously not connected, the headlight bulb is tight to move, any tips.

Are you saying that it could be four bulbs in total, I can only see one each side, there is a small blue coloured bulb that I can see thru the headlight.

I am looking to change headlight bulbs on my Fabia Vrs 62 plate but I am confused at how many bulbs there are to replace, I had a look and couldn't budge the bulb, so my question is are there 2 bulbs on each side or just one, I may seem stupid but I'm totally confused on this one.
