It happens only when starting off - its an automatic, so I assume it would be number 1

Only the original 5 year one, which has now lapsed, but thanks for the information - perhaps the end is not just around the corner.

Auto - I assume that makes it more complicated/expensive. Could it be weak engine mounts? Thanks for your input

Hi, I have a 2018 1.5 tsi Karoq, which has started developing a clutch judder. It only happens when the car has been driven for quite a while - 50+ miles, and happens when pulling away uphill. It is not very serious, and stops once the car is moving at about 4 mph, however I am concerned that it could be advance warning of some serious issue. I drive the car quite gently, and it has covered about 45K miles. Does anyone have any similar experience? Thanks.

Have just updated SatNav (Amundson) in Karoq (2018). The system seems to work Ok, except that whilst it has remembered my destinations, it appears to have forgotten the directions. ie a destination in Bristol is being shown as in Cheltenham. I thought that having wiped and reloaded the SD card, that it should have not remembered anything, but "destinations" shows the list as they were before, it just appears that the system does not know where these destinations actually are. Is this something I should have considered before doing the update? Thanks, Mel

My Karoq is a 68 plate, and in 2020 I updated the SatNav software using the Skoda update portal. (Amundson Infosystem) Thinking it was about time to update again, I find that the portal information has changed and I am looking for some guidence. In 2020 the instruction was to download two map files and install them in the "maps" folder on the SD card. The current info is to reformat the card and then download other files directly onto the root of the SD card. I have asked Skoda customer support if this would work on my system, but they did not know "Talk to local dealer". Tried that - not much help there either. "Bring it in and we can update it" - not really the reply I was looking for - nor did they quote a price! Has anyone any words of advice - thanks in anticipation. Mel54
