  1. Looking for replacement boot gas struts - Mk IV estate

    The gas struts in my boot have lost their pressure, resulting in a couple of banged head episodes when the boot comes down! I've tried deciphering the reeference numbers on struts but cannot find a perfect match anyway. Does anyone have any ideas where I could get them? Reference number is 5E7 827 552 01S and the lifting force is 560N.

    I had this prolem for a long time. I think it was due to changing phone signal to the SIM. It dodn't happen everywhere, mainly just in Greaterr London area. But now seems fixed, had a relative flurry of OTA software updates. Which I assume fixed it.
