  1. Thanks @Breezy_Pete, I've seen a couple of people on other posts with similar symptoms suggest that the chain could have jumped a tooth, do you think this is the most likely cause?
  2. Hi all, am hoping you can help me with a frustrating problem. Got a 1.2 2003 HTP AZQ. TLDR: Getting following diag faults- P0341- camshaft sensor -intermittent P0106- manifold pressure sensor fault. Both items renewed but same codes come up and engine hunting at 3000 revs. Also difficult to start when first starting. Long version: Engine Management Light came up after driving for not longer than 2 minutes and engine cut out. Restarted and managed to start driving back home but same happened again. Managed to limp back home but any high revs caused the engine to cut when dropping back down to low revs (below 2000ish). Put the car on the diagnostic and there were a few intermittent codes. The Camshaft sensor was intermittent. So we took it out and cleaned it, but no luck, so got a new Camshaft sensor. This also did not help, this time putting it on the diagnostic showed the Manifold Pressure sensor as having a fault. We took this out and cleaned it as it was covered in carbon but this did not help. We've now replaced the MPS but the problem remains. We've cleared codes and restarted engine, the following 2 codes came up: P0341- camshaft sensor -intermittent P0106- manifold pressure sensor fault. The engine is hunting at 3000 revs, and is also difficult to start when first starting. Can anyone suggest anything as the 2 sensors being reported as having a fault are now new? Thank you!
