  1. I bought it for less than €200 so I guess it is a clone then. Will make a request at Ross Tech for verification on this. If it is a clone I guess I can just forget to get it to work? Looks legit though
  2. By mistake. I thought I created an account. Tried to log in, failed. So I thought I just made a mistake and created a "new account". I'll look it over and try to delete the other one. Thanks for the heads up. Bought the unit "new and unused" from marketplace. Should be original, payed premium moneys and I cannot see anything that tells me otherwise.. Have tried to access more of the modules, googled and tried different codes to no avail. BUT I saw last night that S12345 was case sensitive on the "S", and I'm not sure that I tried that. Will try tomorrow. But as it stands in not able to do any changes with secured demand, regular long coding works fine. Is that something to do with the origin of the device itself?

Hello all. New to this forum and a first time Skoda owner. I've purchased a black magic 2016 mk3 Octavia 5E5 1.2L 110hp at 158000km (98k miles) Hoping to see 4-6000km (2500-3700 miles) out of this one at roughly 1300km (800 miles) per year without too much hassle.
  4. Hi. New VAG owner here, got me an Octavia 2016 5E5. Also picked up an VCDS HEX-V2. Everything seems to work up until I need to put in security codes. I get the yellow bubble with RossTech tips eg. Security code 31347 for module 09 aso. But every time I insert code it comes back with an error that the controller refuse the key. I have only tried the Module 9 so far, but nomatter what I type, the error pops up. Trying to negate light bulb error after switching to "can bus led" on license plate wich while the bulb works, I get an annoing error. Also I want to be able to "remap" the bixenon headlights wich are way too high. tips and pointers please.. Log160511km-99736mi.txt
