  1. cheers dave but my front bushes were on their way anyway, hence why having them replaced not sure which ones werent done
  2. Hi guys Had a set of weitec shocks and springs fitted, and a set of powerflex poly bushes all round. Apparently they didnt fit some of the front ones as they werent needed ?????? Anyways im now gettin an annoying squeaking from the front right hand side suspension which according to my local garage (who are normally **** hot at picking out probs and sorting them) its just due to the poly's being so much stiffer Is this the case or is something seriously wrong, like possibly new AR bar needed?
  3. Hi guys (and gals) Just hit the big 100k, and i have a leak from my rad (only small and due to be replacing with an ally one soon. However i've been gettin the traditional coolant level light flash come on. Now checking now and again the level seems to drop very small amounts (due to the leak). But the other day i was running below minimum after a short run. So after opening the top of the bottle, the level then bubbled back up to maximum. Is this normal, as i would have thought the level would rise under heat, not be below minimum
  4. Already have hun. Cos i was the bugger who took up hours of your guys time, when my ecu packed up when you tried putting the trial remap on I turned the 007 back to the normal way round cos the "ting" was doing my head in, and now i get more of a traditional tssh. I get the chatter sound occasionally when i lift off slowly....sounds so sweet
  5. use photobucket to save the photos to make a link, then use the image button on a post to put it up
  6. Ive seenon plenty of posts that our 1.8ts need to run recirc valves otherwise the ecu throws up a fault code to do with not enough air. Although its a completely different car, my friend who has an evo4, runs with no DV and gets a lovely wastegate chatter fro the turbo (rally stylee ), and has had reliable info that it wont harm the turbo. A stupid question now, but is this achievable by runnin no DV on our engines, or possibly s stronger spring on the forge 007p?
  7. If its any consolation, another possible is to get a custom job. 85 quid (maybe quite a bit for some folk), but the pillar trim gets 2 fibreglassed additions to mount the gauges, then wrapped in leather vinyl to match the OE interior. http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff156/nathanbanks/23072008083.jpg
  8. Im over by the airport mate , i do beleve there was a vag 20v tag on my window at volksfest

  9. I get a similar problem with my Octavia vRS 1.8T. Get the chimes and light come on when first starting up, then if engine is switched off and re-started its fine. Octavia owners think it could be scaling on the sensor, but any other advise is appreciated
  10. 1) devonutopia 2) PAArsko 3) Jimb0 4) natesvRS (maybe) I'll try to commit to both nights jase. All depends what start time i got for work on the thursday morning
  11. I agree with mluton. I have the carbonio kit on mine, and coupled with the Forge 007 dump valve, such a sweet noise which will get you noticed lol
