  1. Apologies, I have checked my engine code and it's actually the CUPA engine. Emission standard is Euro 5. Following further research it seems the CUPA engines don't have the pressure sensor glow plug whereas the CUNA engines do. Case closed! Thanks everyone for your help.
  2. It's an early Octavia 3 with the CUNA engine - sorry, I've posted this thread in the Mk3 forum, I thought that was clearer.
  3. Hi folks, I recently had an engine management light on the dash, and following a diagnostics scan it threw up cylinder 3 glow plug fault. I know cylinder 3 glow plug usually has a pressure sensor on it, so I went ahead and purchased one. When I removed the top connector, I noticed the existing faulty glow plug 3 was the regular one without the pressure sensor. The top connector also doesn't fit the new glow plug I purchased. My car is a 2014 Skoda Octavia VRS TDI DSG. Is it normal for it to have 4 regular glow plugs without a sensor on any of them? TIA.
