  1. I have the following engine: BGU, 1 595 cm³, 75 kW, petrol, mechanical gear switch. Btw. how could it be a design feature, if it didn't do the same in the previous 4 years?
  2. Thanks, I will check this, but until that any other ideas, or suggestions?
  3. Hi everyone, I'm facing with the following symptons: My Octavia (2005) won't rev up above 3000 rpm, in the first 3 gears, however if I quickly press the clutch slightly in while holding the throttle a bit, it goes up, and accelerates like normal, but when releasing the accelaration pedal and letting the rev go under 3000, when I try to accelerate again, the same things happen, so this way I closed out, that there is any problem with the clutch system, especially with the plates. Another funny thing that sometimes the car works well, but more recently it's a more common thing, that doesn't. First of all there are no error codes stored in the ECU, so hereby I declare well the problem, writing down everything we've done already (and I still remember) I've already checked many possibilities including the following ones: turbo (disconnected), MAF sensor (cleaned, also tried disconnected), N75 valve (disconnected), knock sensor (changed), another valve what's name I don't remember already (changed), fuel filter (changed), EGR (closed off by using a metal plate). For any tests the same thing happened, and pressing clutch a bit solved the problem. What I didn't checked are the camshaft and crankshaft sensors, but these should also drop error at higher gears (shouldn't?) and this way the car wouldn't start(?). I tried finding any leaks in the airflow system, however the intake manifold absolute pressure seems good, besides the most of the values of the sensors, and I inspected many pipes for leaks, and I didn't really find any. What is also interesting that in higher gears the problem doesn't came up, or at least for now. I also monitored the ECU through ODB, and what I see, that when it stops accelarating the advanced timing (preignition) drops below zero, what should be normally positive while pressing gas. I also attached the graphs and the csv file taken from the Car Scanner app. And also thinking like that there can be many reasons closed out because the timing advance mostly depends on the RPM values and the intake pressure. I'm really disappointed in my car, and it's also unsafe to use it like that, but I need it everyday to get to work. I hope you have any other ideas what I didn't already tried. I would be really thankful for any help and ideas that can solve the problem because I'm getting nervous at this point. 2023-10-22 16-02-52.csv graph.pdf
