How to get a 4awg power wire through the firewall!
Hi all. I'm midway through a project involving installing aftermarket amp in the boot of my Fabia Mk3 (1.0 TSI, RHD). However I can't for the life of me find a suitable, accessible grommet to route my 4 gauge power cable from the battery to the interior. I've removed the glovebox and kick panel, but still can't find a grommet. I've tried the one underneath the scuttle panel on the passenger side, but the seal is way too tight to accommodate an additional cable. If anyone has successfully routed such a cable on their RHD Fabia, let me know what grommet you used and if anything needed to be removed to gain access! Any advice would be really massively appreciated Cheers

Mk4 steering wheel swap
Hi all, Recently got an amazing deal on a Fabia Mk4 steering wheel (monte carlo, flat bottommed) and am looking to fit it to my 2017 Mk3 Fabia SE. Have also bought a Mk4 airbag as my current one won't fit in the new wheel. Has anyone had any experience with switching wheels/airbags or know how easy the process is? i.e. if it needs coding to the car or should just be plug and play Thanks for any help, Josh

New tyres for fabia
Thanks, they are BluEarth ES32’s. In that case I think I would either stick with the 185s or switch to the 215s that come with some Fabia’s. Are there any good places to buy second hand wheels other than ebay?

New tyres for fabia
Yes I've heard the primacy 4's aren't great. I live in the south east so wet some of the time. I know this gen Fabia also came with the option of 215/45 R16s which should fit onto my car although these wheels seem hard to come by used

New tyres for fabia
Thanks! I am leaning towards staying with the 185/60 R15s although this does limit the options for which tyres I can chose from. As for all season tyres I think I'd rather stick with summers as they will have better grip for the coming months. The main choices I can find are here: https://www.halfords.com/tyres/?prefn1=sectionwidth&prefv1=185&prefn2=aspectratio&prefv2=60&prefn3=rimdiameter&prefv3=15&isSearchByVrn=true&isVrnSearch=true&priceband=BandC&enginesize=LT1500&isTyresPlp=true&prefn4=tyreseason&prefv4=Summer&prefn5=tyrerecom&prefv5=Premium Pretty much need to chose between the Michelin Primacy 4, Bridgestone turanza T005 or the various continental tyres. Absolutely no idea what the differences are but would like the ones with the best grip in the dry, and decent wet grip although that is less important

New tyres for fabia
Hi there, I have a 2017 Fabia (1L TSI) and it currently has 185/60 R15 tyres on it. They are currently Yokahama Blu earths which are a bit crap. It has come time to replace them and I am not sure which tyres would be best to go for. Would it also be worth going for slightly wider tyres too? Perhaps 195/60 R15s. Would these fit on the stock rims? Thanks for all help
